May Wishlist !

Hello everybody! I hope you are all having a fabulous day! As it is May very soon or it probably is May when your reading this I thought I would show you my May Wishlist ! This is basically a list of all of the things I would like to purchase over May but probably won't , in other words! Anyway enjoy!

Beauty

So the first beauty related thing that I want is the hint of tint cover and correct cream by clean and clear. I just want a natural looking foundation type thing to wear to school and this sounds like it will be perfect! It also helps to clear your skin as well as covering your blemishes !

The next thing I would like is the Urban decay after glow highlighter in the colour sin. I have seen loads of YouTubers use this and it just looks so pretty! Urban decay is my favourite high end makeup brand so I would love a highlighter from them!

Fashion

The first fashion item that I like the look of is these pair of trousers! I literally only wear black skinny jeans and occasionally black tights with a skirt so I really want to find something that suits my style but is a bit different as well. These look perfect! They are just white and black striped wide leg trousers and I think they would look great paired with a plain white top!

The next fashion item that I want is a bomber jacket. It seems like everyone has been wearing bomber jackets lately and there's nothing better than keeping up with the latest trends so that is basically why I want a bomber jacket. Also because it is now Spring and I think it is starting to get hotter I need a light jacket to wear which will keep me warm but not too warm if you get what I mean!

Accessories

Due to Coachella happening recently in America, everyone has been loving round sunglasses! Everyone has been buying the round ones from Ray ban however I could not pay over £100 for a pair of sunglasses so I am just going to look around in random shops until I see a pair I like! The ones above are from H & M and they are actually from the Coachella range!

I would also love a rucksack! I think these little rucksacks are so cute ! They look sophisticated and smart but also very pretty and dainty ! They are also very practical and look like they could fit loads in! When my handbag eventually breaks I am definitely getting one of these!

Random-ish things

I really love the look of this fake tan. It is called hoola and it is by Benefit ! I have tried it out in the shops so many times and it just looks so natural and nice! I never ever fake tan but this just provides you with a very subtle tan which is so lovely for the summer when it gets hotter and I start to show off more skin!

The final thing that I would love is a Polaroid instax 8 camera! I just love the colours of all of these cameras and I just think they are so sweet! I would also be able to catch so many memories using one of these and I just love them!

So that's the end of today's post!
I hope you enjoyed it!

Comment below anything you would like to say and I would love it if you left some suggestions of what posts you would like me to do!

Bye!

What straighteners do I use?

Hello everybody! I hope you are all having a great day! Lately I got my hair cut from under my shoulders to just under my chin! I would say that it is a long bob which is apparently quite trendy at the moment . Anyway I have been straightening my hair a lot more lately which is not really a good thing but I wanted to share with you what straighteners I use because I think they are great! Enjoy!

So these are the Andrew Barton Salon sleek straighteners . The design of these is so classy , I love the black and gold! Also they come with a heat mat which you can leave your straighteners on whilst they cool down. This is so good because I always used to worry that I would burn my floor with my old straighteners. The best part of these straighteners though, is that the titanium-ceramic heating plates are infused with argan which makes them glide through your hair so smoothly! I also love how they have 20 different heat settings so I can choose the temperature I want to use to straighten my hair and it warms up so quickly!

So what do I think of these?

Design: 8/10 (sometimes the button doesn't turn on?)

Easiness to use: 9/10

Quality of results: 10/10

So overall , a bunch of very great results ! They leave my hair so soft and also shiny after using them as well as leaving them super sleek and straight!

I hope you enjoyed this quick post! See you soon!

Yummy Oreo and chocolate brownies!

Hello everyone ! Today I am going to show you how to make one of my most favourite treats ! These are of course Oreo and chocolate brownies . Even though this recipe is quite long and difficult the outcome is defiantly worth it !
Enjoy !

What you will need-

  • 165g of butter (and a little bit extra to grease the tray)
  • 200g of milk chocolate
  • 3 free range eggs
  • 2 free range egg yolks
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract/ 1 vanilla pod
  • 165g of soft light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp of plain flour
  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • A packet of Oreos
Method-

First of all you should pre heat the oven to Gas mark 4 and grease the tin .

Whisk the eggs , egg yolks and and vanilla extract together.

Add the sugar to the side of the bowl and whisk again until light and fluffy . Put this mixture to the side while you do the next step .

Melt the butter in a saucepan that is on a medium to low heat.

Once all of the butter has melted , turn off the heat and add the chocolate to the saucepan . Stir until the chocolate has melted.

Once you have let the chocolate mixture cool down for 5-10 minutes add it to the original egg mixture and whisk.

Then add the plain flour and the cocoa powder to the mixture and whisk again until it turns thick.

Break the Oreos into little pieces and add two thirds of them to the mixture . Stir with a spoon (don't whisk this time) until the bits of Oreos are evenly distributed around the chocolatey mixture.

Pour the mixture into your greased baking tray and lightly press the remaining bits of Oreos into the top of the brownie mixture.

Put it in the oven for approximately 40-45 mins still on gas mark 4.
Meanwhile while they are cooking its time to do your favourite job ever - the washing up!

Once you think your brownie bake is cooked take it out of the oven and leave it to cool for 20 minutes . Then cut the brownie bake into smaller pieces .

Voila !! You have got yourself some delicious Oreo brownies !

I hope you enjoyed this post

Real techniques purchases

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely day today ! When I went shopping a few days ago , I went into boots and picked up a few things from real techniques. I love real techniques. All of their brushes are such good quality and they are also quite cheap .

In boots there was a buy one and get another half price deal on. I was originally only going to buy one thing but I couldn't resist buying another just to get this deal. So I chose another product and I have to say that I have got no regrets !
The things that I bought were the miracle complexion sponge and the deep cleansing gel!

So the extra product that I bought was this deep cleansing gel. I absolutely love cleaning my makeup brushes so I just thought this would be nice to try out! I washed my makeup brushes last night with this and left them to dry overnight and when I woke up this morning I was pleasantly surprised ! This gel had made my brushes so soft and so clean! All you do is rinse them with water, rub the gel on them until it starts to lather up and then rinse it all away! Super easy and super good!

The other thing that I bought was a miracle complexion sponge (or beauty blender). I've been wanting this for a while and recently I just decided that I was going to buy it! I'm so glad I did because I absolutely love it! It makes your foundation (or whatever you use it for) look so beautiful and flawless on your face! I used to use the real techniques buffing brush to put my foundation on but I will now be using this ! If you use your fingers to put your foundation on then I would really recommend this to you because you will see a massive difference in the appearance of your foundation! Definitely earns a 10/10 from me!

So those were the things I purchased from real techniques! I recommend both of them but especially the complexion sponge because it just really improves the look of your foundation!

I hope you enjoyed this post ! See you soon!

My 5 favourite body products

Hi guys ! Today (if you didn't read the title) I am going to be doing a post on my 5 favourite body products . Just to save confusion, by body products I mean things like shower gels, moisturisers , creams and scrubs. Anyway all of the products I'm going to be showing you, make me feel so luxurious and soft and I would definitely recommend every single one of them! Enjoy!

So the first product that I absolutely love is this body shop shower gel! Well it isn't this exact shower gel that like, I just love all of them ! They lather up so well, smell lovely and leave you feeling squeaky clean. The body shop shower gels come in loads of different scents so there is always a smell for you ! I especially love the grapefruit , blueberry , Fuji green tea, satsuma and British rose shower gels .

My next favourite is made by soap and glory and it is the sugar crush body buttercream . If you haven't smelt this then I suggest that you drive to your nearest boots right now and take a nice whiff of it ! It smells divine! To be more precise it smells of lemon meringue pie and it is literally the nicest thing I've ever smelt ! I had a body scrub of this which would of been in my favourites but unfortunately I used it up last week and threw it in the bin! However I do have a body spray with this scent and you can click here to see more information on that ! I love this buttercream so much ! It is very hydrating and softening as well!

My next favourite product is also produced by soap and glory and it is the Hand food hand cream . I have quite dry hands and this hand cream is perfect for making them feel more moisturised and soft . The cream sinks into your hands quickly and just leaves them smelling nice and feeling silky ! The smell of this hand cream is quite subtle which goes really nicely with the product. It has quite a soapy and creamy smell but it is still nice and soothing ! Love , love , love!!

The next product that I have been loving is from Zoella's skincare range and it is the candy cream softening body lotion . When I saw that the name said 'softening' I didn't really pay much attention to it . Loads of moisturisers say that they are softening but really they don't make any difference! However this moisturiser is different ! This moisturiser just made me feel so unbelievably soft! The smell is quite subtle but I like it ! I feel very relaxed when I'm using it. I also love the little pink bursting beads! If you want a gorgeously soft body then I would really recommend this to you!

The final thing that I have been loving is another product by soap and glory which is the sugar crush shower gel ! You can probably guess why I love this so much ! Yes , it is because of the lovely scent ! Let me just remind you again that it smells like lemon meringue pie (and lime jelly actually) ! How can you not like that scent ! It also lathers up really well and leaves your skin super clean! Just brilliant!

So those are the 5 body products that I love ! Sorry if I got a bit over enthusiastic when I was describing the sugar crush scent but it is just soo nice !

Also leave a comment saying what posts you'd like to see me do because to be honest I'm struggling for ideas ! :)

I hope you enjoyed this post ! Bye !

New Nars Purchase

Hello everyone ! Recently I went into Selfridges and fell in love with a Nars lipstick ! I couldn't be bothered to buy it on the day (surprise surprise) so I went home and ordered it off of House of Fraser. A few days later it came and in this post I am going to be telling you what I think of it ! Enjoy!
So the lipstick I bought from Nars was from the audacious lipstick range and it is in the shade Barbara . This lipstick is just lovely! The only way I can describe the colour is as a perfect nude. It is a nude with the right amount of pink in it and the right amount of brown in it. Just beautiful!

The actual formula of the lipstick is so pigmented! You only need to use a thin layer to get a very strong colour. I would say that the audacious lipsticks are semi matte which is very nice because I love nothing more than a matte lip !

The packaging is so sleek and classy! It is matte black with Nars written in shiny writing across the bottom part. Also the lid is magnetic which is just so unbelievably cool (you can't appreciate the coolness of the magnetic lid until you try it) .

The only thing that makes these lipsticks not perfect is that they are quite drying . However as they are matte I would expect that.

Apart from the drying factor, this lipstick is great! The shade , Barbara, is so pretty and the colour that comes out of them is just amazing ! Overall the Nars audacious lipsticks earn a 9/10 from me !

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Tips on how to get a great wardrobe!

Hello everyone ! As Spring is here and Summer is coming up soon (yay!) , there isn't a better time than now to clean out your wardrobe ready for the upcoming seasons ! In today's post I'm going to be telling you some tips on how to decide what clothes to keep and what clothes to throw away or give to charity in order to get a lovely wardrobe! So here we go !

Tip 1 . Seasonal clothes
The first thing to sort out is your seasonal clothes. You obviously don't want to be wearing a jumper with a Christmas hat on it in the summer because 1. You would be boiling and 2. Your around 7 months late ! However you don't have to throw these away because you can save them for next year.Perhaps you can just put them somewhere different to your normal clothes and get them back out when Christmas comes around again !

Tip 2. Clothes you've grown out of
In the last year or two my fashion style has completely changed ! I used to wear bright pink tracksuits with a sickly pink top (which there is nothing wrong with but it is just not my taste anymore) but now I refuse to wear anything pink and the only things that are allowed to touch my legs are black skinny jeans! I've still got some weird pieces in my wardrobe now (like the ones above and sorry Frozen fans) that I don't wear anymore and it would just be better if I got rid of them . You never know , someone may fall in love with something you hate so it is better for everyone to just let them go !

Tip 3. Does it match with anything
I have these cute little white short dungaree things with vertical blue stripes (which you can see in the above picture) that will look lovely in the summer but they just don't match with anything! I tried them with a white top and it looked to white and I tried them with a bright top and it looked too bright (congratulations to my rubbish describing skills) so they just stay in the back of my cupboard collecting dust ! I now regret buying them (if you have a suggestion of what could go with them then please comment below) so when you are in the shops just think about what you would pair the item of clothing with and if you cant think of anything just put it back , move on and treat yourself to something else !

So those were my tips on how to get a great wardrobe ! Obviously the most important thing to do is just wear what you want so please don't feel like you have to obey these tips if you don't want to!

I hope you enjoyed this post and see you soon!

Everyday Spring makeup look

Hello everyone ! As Spring has started I thought it would be nice to show you the makeup look I have been drawn to for the start of this season! I have to say that Spring is one of my favourite seasons. It is hot-ish and everything looks so cute and pretty in Spring . There is also Easter which means I get to eat lots of chocolate ! Anyway I hope you enjoy this post!

The first thing that I do is my face . So to start off I would put some my favourite primer on my face which is maybellines Baby skin instant pore eraser primer . Then I would put my foundation on and I use the Revlon 24 hour colour stay foundation which is also really good . Then I would put some of my urban decay naked concealer on my nose and on any blemishes. Finally I powder my face with my trusty clinique powder . That is my face done !

The next thing that I do is add a bit of dimension to my face. In other words I basically just put some blush and highlighter on . For my blush I have been using the Loreal paris le blush in the colour sandalwood pink. Then to do some very subtle highlighting on my face I use the soap and glory glow all out cheek stick . I haven't been bothering to put any bronzer on my face lately because well I'm not really sure but I just haven't!

The next thing I do ,which is my favourite part of doing my makeup, is my eyes ! So first of all I would prime my eyes . To do this I have been using one of the sample packets of primer that I received with my urban decay naked palette. Then I will actually use my naked palette on my eyes .

I would put the colour virgin ( first colour) all over my eyelids. Then just before the centre of my eyelids, I would put some of sidecar (fourth colour) on and bring it to the end of my eyelids. Then to finish it off I would put a bit of the colour buck (fifth colour) on at then end of my eyelids and I will also bring it through the crease . Sorry if I explained that really badly and sorry that the eyeshadow on my eye doesn't show up very well in the picture. It looks much better in real life!

After I have applied my eyeshadow I just tidy up my eyebrows with the miss sporty clear mascara and then I would put some mascara on my eyelashes and for this I have been using maybellines lash sensational.

The next thing I do is put some lippie on . I have been loving a lip liner which is made by new look! It is in the colour 72 , which is a matte pinky/peachy nude and it is just lovely . It stays on your lips for a really long time and it is a beautiful colour . Well done new look ! Then over my lip liner I would put a Kiko lipstick on that I have also been loving! It is one of their smart lipsticks and it is in the colour 902 which is a non matte pastel pink !

The final thing I do is spray my face with the urban decay de sleek makeup setting spray .

So that is all of the products that I have been using to create this lovely spring make up look .

I hope you enjoyed this post !

Matte Lips and Matte nails

Hello everyone ! I hope you are having a great day ! Today I am going to be telling you about about a new look I have been loving . It is of course a matte lip with matte nails.

Lately I have been obsessed with everything matte . It just looks so cool and classy !

I have been using my Nyx soft matte lip cream in the colour Istanbul to achieve this look . I love my soft matte lip cream ! It really does feel soft on my lips and the colour Istanbul is a beautiful pink . I think everyone should have at least one of these in their makeup bags!

To get the matte pink colour on my nails I have been using two Barry m products . Firstly I would put on a coat of Acai Smoothie which is from the gelly hi shine range . Then to make it matte I would put the matte topcoat on . I am obsessed with this matte topcoat! It can make any nail varnish matte so you can try this matte lip , matte nails look with lots of different colours!

I hope you enjoyed this post !
Like I said you can try this matte lip and matte nails look with lots of different colours . To make a lipstick matte, put some of the lipstick on your lips and pat some powder (e.g the one you use on your face) over it and to get matte nails buy the Barry m matte top coat (which is only cheap) and use it on any nail varnish to get a matte look ! I think this look would be nice in red or in autumn you could try it in a nice berry colour but for spring I'm sticking with pink !

Thanks for reading !
